Matt El-Kadi, MD, Ph.D specializes in minimally invasive and complex spine surgery. He is an expert in the treatment of spinal fusion, spine tumors, minimally invasive spine surgery and other spine-related diseases. Dr. El-Kadi is on staff at UPMC Passavant and UPMC Presbyterian hospitals and has clinical offices in Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia.
Dr. El-Kadi completed neurosurgery residency training at West Virginia University, a neurosurgery research fellowship at LAC-University of Southern California Medical Center, and a clinical fellowship in neurosurgery at Harford Hospital, University of Connecticut. Had has authored more than 7 books and book chapters, and has over 30 publications in circulation.
Dr. El-Kadi is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons and a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, the Allegheny County Medical Society, the Pennsylvania Neurological Society and the North American Spine Society.
Dr. El-Kadi was chosen as part of the Best Doctors in America® from 2009 through 2021.
