Nonsurgical Treatments
Our goal is to treat your symptoms without surgery. In most cases, it is reasonable to try conservative therapies first. These treatments may include medications, physical therapy, chiropractic care and pain management. When you are seen for your consultation, treatment options will be discussed and a recommendation will be made. Medications are often used in the short term for symptomatic relief of pain and muscular spasm; they also can be used to decrease inflammation. Physical therapy and chiropractic care may be used for not only range of motion and exercise, but also for symptomatic relief with passive modalities. Pain management treatment involves consideration of treatments including injections. Some of these recommendations may require a referral and our office will make those arrangements for you.
